• clapper.com. It's unclear to whom this web site is registered.
• jeffclapper.com. Personal web page of Jeff Clapper, one of the principals of Clapper Communications. (Jeff sent me an email, after stumbling across this site.)
• bjclapper.com. Web site of a Bryan J. Clapper, a Fargo, ND, musician who records under the name "Clapper" and plays an "eclectic blend of folk, trip-hop, drum'n'bass, rock and pop." He has some MP3s posted to his web site. They're worth checking out. (Bryan also sent me an email, after seeing this site.)
• clapper.net. They'll sell you an email address ending in clapper.net. They've apparently registered quite a lot of domains based on surnames.
• mrclapper.com. The personal web site of a Michael Clapper, a teacher at a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, high school.
• clappers.com. A company called Clapper's that imports and sells outdoor garden furnishings.
• clappersguide.com. Clapper's Guide Service, the web site of a central Pennsylvania fishing guide and chartering service company run by a Denny Clapper.
• clappercorp.com. Clapper Corporation, an Iowa company started (30 years ago) by a Ted Clapper, supplying "sales, service and support to the rendering industry." That's animal rendering, as in slaughterhouses, not computer graphics rendering.
• clappers-inc.com. A company called Clapper's Industries, Inc., their web site bills them as "a manufacturer of plastic laminated and wood veneered furniture tops and panels." They have a related business called Clapper's Building Materials, Inc., with its own web site, clappers.cc.
• clapperco.com. Clapper Company, a Montana "manufacturer's representative firm" in the plumbing and heating industry.
• clappertechnology.com. A Malaysian information technology company. In this case, the "clapper" refers to a part of a bell, not someone's name.
• www.clapperart.com. Donald Clapper, who bills himself as a "master fine art trompe l'oeil artist".
• www.clapperandclapperpc.com Clapper & Clapper, Professional Corporation, the Danville, IL, law firm of Jeffrey K. Clapper and Kerry R. Clapper.
