rawdog, a Python-based RSS reader, is similar to curn, in spirit, features and invocation. I had no idea rawdog existed when I wrote curn.

Notes: curn requires at least a 1.5 JDK or JRE. The source will not compile with any version of Java prior to 1.5. The binary was built with a 1.6 JDK on Mac OS X, but compiled to 1.5-compatible bytecode. It should work with any 1.5 or 1.6 JDK. (I routinely run it with a FreeBSD 1.5 JDK.)
