I have reproduced this problem and generated a fix to the curn.bat file. In a
few minutes, I'll be posted a patch release to curn (version 3.0.1) that
addresses this problem. Richard, please try the 3.0.1 version and let me know
if it fixes your problem.

This fix has also been rolled into the soon-to-be-released 3.1 version of curn.
